Author Exhibitor and Poetry @ The Oxford Indie Book Fair: Sunday 13th July 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

I had a brilliant time at OXIB back in December – it was my first time selling my books as an exhibitor! It feels only right to return again for the summer round, held at Magdalen College School as part of The Oxford Festival of the Arts. Please do come along as it’s free entry! Author Exhibitor and Poetry Slam @ The Oxford Indie Book Fair: Sunday 1st December, 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

I’ve performed at the wonderful Oxford Indie Book Fair before, but this time I’ve bitten the bullet and have booked myself an exhibitor table! The Oxford Indie Book Fair is a chance for authors, publishers, booksellers and writing groups to showcase their work, meet with people interested in writing or publishing and sell some of their books! I’m going to be pitching up with a big stock of my book, ‘once-joined pieces’ (and perhaps some delicious freebies….), as well as performing at the fair’s in-house poetry slam (time TBC). The fair is held at the prestigious Oxford University Examination Schools, which is a pretty cool building to be inside of (if we disregard that I did some of my undergrad exams in there…) and it’s free entry to the public! There are some amazing people exhibiting at the fair and it’s simply a lovely Sunday activity to bring family and friends along to. Cheltenham Poetry Festival stage @ The Cheltenham Literature Festival: Sunday 13th October, 1:30pm

The fabulous team at the Cheltenham Poetry Festival very kindly invited me to join their showcase event at the Literature Festival! Having performed at some of their events as well as competed in their annual poetry slam, I am honoured to be representing them and hope to bring some heartful performances to you as part of their troupe. VOICEBOX @ The Cheltenham Literature Festival: Sunday 6th October, 11:30 – 11:45 AM

I feel so privileged to have been invited back to the inspirational VOICEBOX stage at the 2024 Cheltenham Lit Fest! VOICEBOX is one of the most exciting features of the festival, with free events especially for young people. This is a showcase event at the VOICEBOX stage; I’ll be chairing a panel of inspirational young people who have helped to develop a resource called The Scribbled Self. This Is Just To Say @ The Oxford Poetry Library: Tuesday 2nd May, 7:30pm

I’m so excited to be the featured performer at my favourite poetry night, This Is Just To Say! I’ve been an open mic’er at TIJTS many times in the past, which makes it all the more exciting to be taking to the stage with a feature performance! The event is non-ticketed and very well attended so I advise arriving early! Entry is £5 in cash on the door (see event link). Speak Your Mind is The Word Association’s monthly poetry night at The Old Needleworks in Redditch. This month, the headliner is Bohdan Piasecki, who I got the chance to be mentored by last year! He is an incredible performer and I’m honoured to be supporting him and Jemima Hughes, who is a poetry hero of mine too.
